Avram is deeply involved and active with the Jewish community of Victoria. He has played countless weddings, bar mitzvahs, Jewish holidays and simchas of all sorts.
For 15 years, Avram has been a member of Victoria’s premier klezmer band, the Yiddish Columbia State Orchestra, a big, bold, brassy supergroup of some of the West Coast’s finest musicians.
Whatever your occasion, Avram can provide Klezmer bands of any size to mix freilachs and Bulgars with popular Jewish melodies from Shlomo Carlebach and the Chasidic and Ashkenazi traditions.
